What we collect and why.
This notice covers the Community Organisation (CO) relaunch teaser page. Plain English, no surprises.

If you register interest
We keep your name, your Discord ID, whether you want to join, whether you worked with us before, and your old employee number if you chose to give it. We use this to contact you on Discord about the relaunch, sometimes before launch and definitely the moment CO opens. Nothing else is done with it and it is not shared outside CO. We delete it once the relaunch contact is done, or sooner if you ask.
If you accept cookies
We record your visits: when you visited, how long you stayed, what you interacted with, and your approximate location from your IP address. We use this to understand interest in the relaunch. Only the CO owners can see it and it is kept no longer than 12 months. If you decline, none of this happens.
Whatever you choose
We count overall traffic for every visitor: total visits, average time on the page and country. This stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you. The only thing saved on your device is your cookie choice itself, so we do not ask you again.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Message any owner on the CO Discord or email privacy@communityorg.co.uk and we will sort it.
